Granita is a semi-frozen dessert born in Sicily, made from sugar, water and various flavorings like fresh fruit, or agrums, almonds, pistachios, and so on. At Casa Stagnitta, Granita is made following the traditional recipes of Western Sicilia. The best way to enjoy a Granita is combining it with the brioche, a soft and fragrant bread, similar to a highly enriched pastry, spherical and slightly flattened.
